I’ve Watched From Here

Please don’t leave your sadness
here
I’ll pick it up and disappear
into your emotion

Motion
cures the sea-sickness
of this rancid devotion
I’m waiting for that second
of pure bliss to encapsulate
the insulation
of love’s degradation

That I’ve watched from here

Don’t come into this glass panelled room
And infect me with your lost dreams
When you watched them fall with a smile
and then crawled

When you lost much more than you had planned to.

Yes, I’m angry and upset
And no, it’s not because of
hormonal reactions to simple
actions when your actions are

those I cannot conscience with
all the mind-science at my disposal

How
Could
You
Throw
A
Family
Away
As
If
It
Were
Trash?

Get the cash and go
we don’t need to know
where or what or who you spend it on.

Just don’t come back,
And look at me like that.

Hey there. My name is Ash. Whenever I feel lost or confused, I write. This blog is a project in releasing the poetry I would have kept locked up inside, otherwise. It's pronounced 'LOU-lah-NA.' Enjoy your visit!
