Thank You for Making Me Smile, Love

When I exist

In a space

Of love

It doesn’t

Hurt less

It hurts

Clearer

And good

People

Find me

In the midst

Of little

Despairs

Making repairs

By sanding

The edges of my

Smile

(I’ve turned to

Wood)

They let

My cheeks

Draw rainbows

In the air

And I

Am constantly

Amazed

That healing

Pain

Can feel like this

Merging of

Influences

Like the sea and

It’s tides

We forget

We are

Waves

To each other

This is a rather

Long way

To say

Thank you

For

Making me

Smile

Hey there. My name is Ash. Whenever I feel lost or confused, I write. This blog is a project in releasing the poetry I would have kept locked up inside, otherwise. It's pronounced 'LOU-lah-NA.' Enjoy your visit!
